Clean TPU Pellet Expansions

Algenesis Labs and Safic-Alcan have formed a strategic distribution partnership to introduce Algenesis’s Soleic plant based, fully biodegradable thermoplastic polyurethane to European markets. The agreement positions Safic-Alcan as the primary supplier for Soleic TPU pellets across its European sales and logistics network, enabling brands and processors to access a bio based alternative designed to reduce carbon footprint and mitigate microplastic pollution while retaining product durability during use.

The collaboration targets sectors such as footwear, consumer goods, and technical applications where performance and end of life considerations are both critical. Safic-Alcan’s regional sales teams, warehousing, and technical support are intended to streamline product availability and application development, supporting commercial adoption and scale up. Industry reporting notes Soleic’s recognition in innovation forums and frames the partnership as a route to accelerate market access for circular polymer solutions in Europe.
