Certified Water Infrastructure
API International is expanding certified water infrastructure with CleanLine, a stainless steel component range developed for drinking-water and sanitary process applications. The line includes flanges certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 for drinking-water health effects and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 for lead-content requirements. Available in corrosion-resistant 304/304L and 316/316L stainless steel, the components can support municipal distribution, water treatment, filtration, reverse-osmosis and potable water storage systems.
CleanLine allows API International to serve projects where NSF certification is required alongside conventional material and dimensional standards. Domestic production can also support infrastructure projects subject to American Iron and Steel and Build America, Buy America requirements. The expanded offering opens opportunities across food, beverage, pharmaceutical and water-treatment equipment markets while responding to demand for verified components that meet drinking-water safety requirements. Its customizable flange capabilities could also help engineers address specialized requirements across complex water infrastructure projects.
