PepsiCo, in partnership with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, has released a significant update to its Climate Resilience Platform — an open-access and open-source digital tool intended to assist agricultural stakeholders in planning for and mitigating the effects of climate change.

The Climate Resilience Platform is designed to translate complex climate research into practical insights that will allow users to model potential risks to crop yields and identify appropriate interventions. This new version introduces enhanced capabilities, including the quantification of climate risks in business terms, expanded geographical and crop coverage, and tools to foster collaboration across organizations.

PepsiCo's Climate Resilience Platform has received additional financial support from the Foundation for Food & Agriculture Research and has attracted new participating entities, including Olam Agri and Bonsucro, who are contributing data and funding to further develop the platform's scope.
