Leap and Verantum entered into a strategic partnership to aggregate portfolios of commercial buildings into demand programs across the US, with the initiative launching ahead of the summer season when grid strain typically peaks. The collaboration enables multi-site operators to generate new revenue streams by making their buildings' energy loads available to the grid during periods of high demand.

Verantum's platform unifies HVAC, refrigeration, lighting and IoT-enabled systems across large building portfolios, modeling controllable load at each location without compromising occupant comfort. Leap's software-only interface then connects those portfolios to grid programs across multiple US energy markets.

Leap and Verantum show how existing commercial building infrastructure can be transformed into flexible grid assets that generate financial value while supporting a more resilient energy system.
