E-Waste Recycling Partnerships

ERI and Eco Recycling Ltd. (Ecoreco) formed the ERI Ecoreco Partnership, a jointly owned venture called ERI India, which brings ERI's IT asset and electronics recycling capabilities to Ecoreco's home market. Ecoreco is India's only publicly traded e-waste management company, providing the venture with built-in regional infrastructure from day one.

The partnership combines ERI's chain-of-custody tracking software, AI-driven sorting technology and advanced shredding with Ecoreco's local regulatory expertise and logistics networks to trace materials from collection through processing and support India's push to recover critical minerals from existing electronics.

As electronics manufacturing and consumption continue to rise across South Asia, this U.S.-India venture shows that pairing proven Western recycling infrastructure with local market expertise could offer a scalable model for closing the resource loop in fast-growing electronics markets.
