Electric Truck Fleet Orders

FedEx Orders 2,000 Harbinger Trucks for $300 Million

FedEx ordered 2,000 electric trucks from Harbinger in a $300 million deal, marking the EV startup's largest bulk order to date, with full delivery expected by the end of next year. Harbinger, founded in 2022 by former employees of Anduril, Canoo and QuantumScape, has already delivered 53 trucks to FedEx under a prior order placed alongside the company's $160 million Series C round, which FedEx led.

Harbinger's focus has centered on a single product, an electric medium-duty commercial truck chassis, an approach that has helped the young company reach production and generate revenue in just a few years.

As logistics companies scale electric fleet adoption, this order signals that focused, single-product EV manufacturers can secure major commercial commitments by proving reliability at scale rather than diversifying too early.
