Multi-Energy Commercial Fleets
Multi-energy commercial fleets are expanding as Foton Motor introduces a broader portfolio of electric, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen-capable vehicles at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. Its lineup includes seven new-energy vehicles, spanning heavy and medium trucks, light trucks, pickups, and buses. Foton is also showcasing supporting components including power batteries, e-drive axles, electric controls, and megawatt charging stations, creating a more integrated approach to commercial vehicle electrification.
Offering multiple powertrain options allows Foton to address different infrastructure, range, and operating requirements across international markets. The company already operates in more than 140 countries and regions and plans to reach 400,000 annual overseas sales by 2030, with new-energy products representing 30%. Expanding both vehicles and supporting components could help Foton strengthen its global position while giving fleet operators more options for transitioning away from conventional commercial vehicle platforms.
