Dole Food Company selected seven projects for its 2025–26 Dole Harvesting Dreams program, an employee-led initiative that turns local ideas into environmental and social solutions across its operating communities. Six projects are based in Latin America and address priorities including access to safe drinking water in Ecuador, sustainable micro-watershed protection in Honduras and targeted weed management alongside sustainable pineapple production in Costa Rica.

The program also marks its first U.S. participation with Bobby's Classroom Connections, which supports education and nutrition in a vulnerable school community. Grounded in Dole's sustainability framework, 'The Dole Way,' the projects are developed in collaboration with public institutions, NGOs and academic partners. Implementation will begin in the second half of 2026, with full rollout targeted for December 2028.

Dole shows how grassroots, employee-driven sustainability programs can deliver locally informed solutions that protect natural resources while addressing community-specific social needs.
