Sustainable studio hydration is the focus of a new global partnership between Hydro Flask and Universal Music Group aimed at reducing single-use beverage waste across music studios, creative spaces and artist events. The initiative introduces hydration stations and reusable bottles throughout UMG's studio network, including renowned facilities such as Abbey Road Studios, helping artists, producers and staff replace disposable beverage containers with refillable alternatives.

Rather than relying on awareness campaigns alone, the collaboration integrates reusable hydration systems directly into the environments where music is created. The program is designed to encourage long-term habit changes by making refill options more accessible and convenient during recording sessions, writing camps and other creative activities. In its first year, the initiative aims to eliminate more than 10,000 single-use drinks and distribute over 2,000 reusable bottles.

As organizations increasingly seek practical sustainability measures, embedding reusable systems into everyday operations may offer an effective approach to reducing waste while supporting environmental goals.
