High-Efficiency Solar Modules

TCL Solar is introducing shade-resistant solar panels designed to maintain stronger electricity production when sunlight is partially obstructed. Its T5 Pro modules combine densely packed components with a three-section cell arrangement, helping limit the performance losses associated with shaded installations. This design offers an advantage for solar projects operating under changing sunlight conditions.

The T5 Pro generates 17% more electricity under shading than conventional half-cut modules and features a temperature coefficient of -0.26% per degree Celsius. TCL Solar is also presenting its C2 modules, which use back-contact technology and minimal spacing between cells to increase the area available for electricity generation.

These developments could help solar developers improve project output and economics across residential, commercial and utility-scale installations. By offering modules suited to different environmental conditions, TCL Solar strengthens its position in India's expanding renewable energy market.
