Green-Certified Hotel Franchises

Ensemble Hospitality reports that over 80% of its hotel portfolio is now certified under the Green Key Global.

Through its 'Sustainable Travel with Ensemble' platform, now in its third year, the company has shifted from early-stage initiatives to a more integrated approach spanning operations, certification, and guest engagement. Participating properties include Bernardus Lodge & Spa, Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Navy Yard, and Dream Inn Santa Cruz, with others currently undergoing certification.

Across its portfolio, dedicated sustainability teams are implementing measures such as EV charging expansion, water- and energy-efficient upgrades, drought-resistant landscaping, digital process adoption, and elimination of single-use plastics.

“Reaching over 80% certified hotels is an important milestone, but more importantly, it reflects the scalability of our sustainability platform. Our focus now is accelerating measurable impact across the entire portfolio while enhancing the guest experience and protecting the destinations we serve," Kristi Allen, Executive Vice President of Hotels at Ensemble Hospitality.
