Solar-Powered Logistics Structures
LX Pantos x SK Innovation E&S Partner for Solar-Powered Centers
Debra John — April 13, 2026LX Pantos, a global logistics company headquartered in Korea, has partnered with SK Innovation E&S to implement solar-powered infrastructure across three of its logistics centers. The initiative focuses on reducing environmental impact through the adoption of renewable energy systems with a combined capacity of approximately 2 megawatts.
By generating clean electricity on-site, the project decreases reliance on conventional energy sources and lowers greenhouse gas emissions associated with logistics operations. A key feature of the initiative is an integrated power-sharing system, which enables surplus solar energy generated at one facility to be redistributed to another, improving overall energy efficiency and minimizing waste.
This approach supports more sustainable energy consumption across the logistics network while maximizing the utility of renewable resources. Upon completion, the project is expected to reduce annual carbon emissions by approximately 1,200 tons, contributing to broader climate and sustainability goals.
