ResponsAbility is Investing in Expansion of Skye Renewables

ResponsAbility has invested 15 million USD in Skye Renewables to support the expansion of commercial and industrial solar projects across Southeast Asia. According to the announcement, the funding will enable Skye Renewables to accelerate deployment in markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines and Thailand, where demand for behind the meter solar solutions continues to grow. The company develops and operates rooftop and ground mounted systems for industrial clients, and the new capital is expected to strengthen its ability to deliver long term power supply agreements while expanding its regional footprint.
The investment aligns with ResponsAbility’s focus on climate finance and its strategy to support renewable energy developers in emerging markets. The firm noted that the partnership is intended to contribute to emissions reduction efforts by increasing access to clean energy for industrial consumers. Skye Renewables indicated that the funding will help scale its project pipeline and enhance its capacity to provide integrated energy solutions, including solar generation and related technologies.
