Scalable Renewable Energy Investments

RJ Corp is Investing ₹1,743 in Energy in Andhra Pradesh

RJ Corp has committed an investment of ₹1,743 crore to establish a green energy unit in Andhra Pradesh, marking an entry into utility-scale renewable development within the state. The capital allocation is intended to support the development of solar generation and related infrastructure, including grid interconnection and potential battery energy storage to enhance dispatchability and firming capability. The company’s stated plan includes land acquisition, permitting, engineering, and construction activities necessary to bring capacity online in phased stages.

The investment is presented as part of RJ Corp’s broader diversification into clean-energy assets and aligns with regional objectives to expand renewable generation and reduce carbon intensity in the power mix. Project execution will depend on securing regulatory clearances, grid connection agreements, and financing arrangements for construction and operation. If completed as planned, the Andhra Pradesh unit would contribute additional renewable capacity to the state’s generation portfolio and support local economic activity through construction and operations-phase employment.
