Hybrid Energy Project Partnerships
Prozeal Green Energy Partnered with Grasim on Wind-Solar Farm
Colin Smith — November 12, 2025Prozeal Green Energy and Grasim have entered a joint development agreement to deliver a 70 MW hybrid renewable energy project with an estimated investment of about USD 100 million. The project combines wind and solar generation in a single, integrated plant designed to optimise resource complementarity and increase capacity utilisation compared with separate installations. The partners frame the development as part of broader corporate efforts to expand renewable generation capacity and to offer grid‑friendly, lower‑carbon power to commercial and industrial off‑takers.
Project scope includes site development, plant engineering, procurement and construction managed through the joint venture, with provisions for operations and maintenance after commissioning. The hybrid configuration is intended to reduce variability in output by leveraging different generation profiles across wind and solar, and the developers highlight the investment case as supporting energy transition objectives while enhancing local renewable infrastructure and associated employment during construction and early operations.
