Rubicon Exotic Installed Its Solar to Secure Over $3M in Savings

Rubicon Exotic, in partnership with Otter Energy, commissioned a 444kW rooftop solar installation at its Mississauga facility, projected to deliver over $3.4 million in lifetime energy savings. The rooftop solar project features 794 bifacial modules and is expected to generate approximately 523,000 kWh of clean electricity in its first year.
The system is projected to deliver a 27.60% internal rate of return, providing Rubicon with a long-term hedge against energy price volatility in a sector already facing rising operational costs. Otter Energy has managed the full engineering and construction process with no disruption to the Rubicon production schedule.
