Fujifilm now covers 100% of its electricity use in the US and Canada through renewable energy certificates from the Blevins Solar and Storage Project, a 2,300-acre Texas solar farm that came online in March 2026. The deal gives Fujifilm 125 MW of the project's output through a virtual power purchase agreement with developer Geronimo Power.

The agreement avoids an estimated 90,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually, accounting for roughly 10% of Fujifilm's total global emissions. The company aims to achieve net-zero operations by 2040 and a 50% reduction in full product lifecycle emissions by 2030.

As corporations seek reliable methods to reduce their energy footprint, Fujifilm shows how supporting new solar projects through structured purchase agreements can enhance a company's renewable energy generation.
