ROSI Raised €20m in Series B Funding to Scale Solar Panel Recycling

ROSI secured more than €20 million through a Series B funding round and European grants to build a 10,000-ton-per-year solar panel recycling facility in Teruel, Spain, marking its first fully standardized production line outside France. The plant will extract high-purity silver, silicon, copper, aluminum and glass from decommissioned photovoltaic modules.
The round was led by InnoEnergy, CMA CGM and the European Innovation Council. ROSI has also been selected by the French eco-organization Soren to manage solar panel collection and recycling across France in the years ahead.
As Europe’s first large-scale solar projects reach the end of their lifespan, ROSI shows how industrial-scale panel recycling can turn an expanding waste stream into a dependable domestic source of essential materials for the clean energy industry.
