Smart Multifamily EV Charging

LAZ Parking and EverCharge are expanding shared-power EV charging systems through a partnership designed to make electric vehicle charging more accessible in apartment buildings and condominiums. The service uses EverCharge's SmartPower technology to distribute available electricity among multiple chargers, allowing properties to accommodate more vehicles without extensive electrical upgrades.

The partnership introduces LAZ Multifamily EV Charging, which enables up to five times more charging ports using the same electrical supply. Combining LAZ's parking network with EverCharge's energy management capabilities expands the charging network to 25,000 ports across North America.

This approach could help property owners lower infrastructure expenses while offering residents more convenient charging options. The collaboration also creates opportunities for expansion into commercial fleets, delivery services, and ride-hailing operations, supporting broader electric vehicle adoption and strengthening the companies' positions in the growing transportation electrification market.
