Greentown Labs has announced 'Go Make 2026,' an open-innovation program developed with Shell Catalysts & Technologies and Technip Energies that is focused on advancing environmentally beneficial catalytic solutions. The program is designed to support industrial decarbonization by accelerating technologies that reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, and enable the transition to lower-carbon industrial systems.
Go Make 2026 is "seeking startups with technology readiness levels between 3 and 8 that are developing catalytic and process innovations for low-carbon fuels, low-carbon gases, carbon dioxide removal, and alternative chemical manufacturing pathways." These areas play a critical role in lowering the environmental impact of energy and chemical production.
Participating startups will engage with technical and business leaders from Shell and Technip Energies through structured collaboration, networking, and pilot opportunities. By leveraging Shell’s expertise in advanced catalysts and industrial processes, the program aims to help scale solutions that support long-term climate and sustainability goals.
