OneH2 Unveils a Modular Indoor Hydrogen Hub in Ohio
Georgia Wray Norsten — October 31, 2025References: fuelcellsworks
Hydrogen infrastructure provider OneH2, Inc. has launched a new modular indoor hydrogen hub in Toledo, Ohio, marking a major advancement in distributed clean energy production. The facility, designed to produce 1.6 tonnes of hydrogen per day, brings every stage of the hydrogen value chain -- generation, purification, compression, storage, and trailer loading -- under one roof. This enclosed, climate-controlled setup enhances operational reliability by protecting sensitive equipment and ensuring continuous performance regardless of external conditions.
Unlike conventional outdoor plants, OneH2’s indoor configuration improves efficiency by streamlining maintenance, reducing downtime, and enabling precise handoffs between integrated modules. Each component is managed through telemetry-based monitoring, allowing real-time oversight and optimized system performance. This approach not only supports regional hydrogen delivery but, it also enables rapid scalability to meet the evolving market demand needs.
