Shared Electric Transport Systems

Sanur has introduced a dedicated electric shuttle bus service to improve local mobility and support sustainable tourism, with a trial operation launched by the Denpasar transportation authorities to serve central resort areas.

The service deploys a small fleet of electric shuttle buses operating on routes within the Sanur resort precinct, designed to reduce traffic congestion and provide an eco‑friendly option for tourists and residents. The initiative is presented as part of broader municipal efforts to advance low‑emission transport solutions and to enhance access to beaches, cultural sites, and hospitality facilities in the area.

The trial phase is structured to evaluate operational performance, rider uptake, and integration with existing transport infrastructure, with local authorities monitoring service frequency, route coverage, and user feedback to inform potential full‑time adoption.
