Daytona International Speedway launched a venue-wide LED lighting installation in partnership with Musco, covering all oval track high-mast fixtures, the road course, the infield, pit boxes and emergency systems. The installation is expected to reduce energy consumption by approximately 50%. The sports venue LED energy efficiency project makes Daytona the world’s largest sports facility to feature Musco’s LED system and the first major motorsports facility in North America to do so.

RGB accent lighting synchronized with race caution systems offers more than 16.7 million color combinations to enhance fan engagement. The project runs through January 2027 and supports NASCAR’s net-zero operating emissions goal by 2035.

Daytona and Musco show how a full LED upgrade can cut energy consumption while improving broadcast quality, driver visibility and fan experience at the same time.
