Polar Racking has supplied foundation systems for the 240-megawatt Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project in New South Wales, marking the company’s first project in Australia. Located in the Central West Renewable Energy Zone, the project supports the expansion of large-scale renewable energy generation and energy storage in the region.

The Maryvale project is being delivered by PCL Construction’s Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems Division, with Polar Racking providing foundation solutions that support the solar facility’s structural stability and long-term performance. These systems play an important role in enabling efficient construction while supporting durable, low-impact renewable infrastructure.

By contributing to the development of utility-scale solar power, the project helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and increase the supply of clean electricity. The addition of energy storage further supports grid reliability and the integration of renewable energy. As Australia’s solar capacity continues to grow, projects like Maryvale contribute to long-term environmental benefits, including improved air quality, reduced carbon emissions, and a more sustainable energy system.
