Vinnytsia’s public transportation network has been expanded with the addition of three new low-floor Solaris buses powered by natural gas. Designed to be more environmentally friendly, the new vehicles are expected to improve service reliability and shorten wait times for passengers at bus stops. By increasing the number of buses in circulation, the city can better balance demand across routes and reduce congestion.

The new buses also provide valuable backup when trams or trolleybuses are temporarily out of service, helping residents reach work, school, or medical facilities more efficiently. City officials also confirmed that the fleet will continue to grow, with four additional buses set to join the routes soon—two Solaris vehicles and two Mercedes buses donated by Vinnytsia’s sister city, Karlsruhe.
