Carbon Credit Reporting Tools
Gold Standard and Verra launched the Gold Standard Verra CA Reporting Tool, providing host countries with a single, comprehensive record of corresponding adjustments for carbon credits authorized under Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement. The tool automatically populates the required summary tables for countries' 2026 Biennial Transparency Reports, consolidating credits issued by either standards body into a single, consistent resource and eliminating the need for countries to reconcile two separate systems.
The tool is designed to increase reporting efficiency, reduce errors and promote consistency across market contexts as countries navigate Article 6.2 compliance.
As international carbon markets mature under the Paris Agreement, this collaboration signals that standardized infrastructure is becoming essential to maintaining credibility and trust between host countries and credit buyers navigating increasingly complex cross-border reporting requirements.
