American Airlines Completes Its First Commercial eSAF Flight

In Texas, American Airlines and Infinium completed the first commercial passenger flight powered by eSAF delivered to a U.S. commercial airport. Produced from waste CO₂ and renewable electricity, the fuel was blended with conventional jet fuel and certified for use without requiring changes to aircraft engines or fueling systems. This demonstrates how power-to-liquids technology can integrate into today's aviation supply chain while reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions.
