The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will launch two ESG campaigns at the Imjingak Peace Nuri Campsite for one month starting next month, aimed at reducing fuel use and promoting sustainable camping.

Under the 'Get Firewood with Green Wheels' initiative, visitors arriving by private vehicle may qualify for complimentary firewood if their car meets eco-friendly criteria. Eligible vehicles defined in accordance with national vehicle rotation standards include zero-emission models such as electric and hydrogen-powered cars.

Meanwhile, the 'Go Without a Car, Camping On' campaign rewards guests who travel by public transportation. Participants who verify transit use—specifically routes terminating at Munsan Station or the Imjingak Peace Nuri tourism area—are eligible to receive a bundled “Grill and Bonfire” package, enabling a combined outdoor cooking and campfire experience.
