Rail Infrastructure Service Platforms

Pacific West Has Acquired Coleman Industrial Construction

Pacific West, backed by Bluejay Capital Partners, acquired Coleman Industrial Construction, a Kansas City-based provider of construction, renovation and environmental services for rail and industrial facilities. The acquisition expands Pacific West's Midwest footprint, complementing its existing presence in Salt Lake City, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Phoenix.

Founded in 1979, Coleman serves Class I railroads with environmental infrastructure work spanning wastewater and stormwater systems, as well as facility maintenance and repair. The deal marks Pacific West's third add-on acquisition since Bluejay's initial investment, following the acquisitions of Eagle Remediation & Demolition Services, Overley's and Hawkke.

As more industrial and rail infrastructure companies integrate environmental contracting into unified platforms, the acquisition indicates that specialty environmental services are emerging as a key differentiator for infrastructure firms.
