Impact Secondaries Investment Funds
Blue Earth Capital has Secured $200 Million in Commitments
Adam Harrie — August 20, 2026Blue Earth Capital announced the second close of its Blue Earth Capital impact secondaries strategy, securing more than $200 million in investor commitments to date, anchored by U.S. investors including Builders Vision, iAlumbra Capital, and Sonen Capital. The strategy addresses a longstanding gap in impact investing, where secondary transactions common in traditional private equity have historically been unavailable due to a lack of offerings.
The strategy invests globally across climate action, circular economy, financial inclusion, healthcare, and education, with recent deployments including a GP-led continuation vehicle that acquired European climate-impact assets focused on building energy efficiency and gas leak detection technology.
Blue Earth's growing secondaries strategy signals that introducing liquidity mechanisms could accelerate the broader impact investment ecosystem's ability to scale climate and social solutions.
