Lithium Brine Productions
Princeton Critical Minerals raised $16 million in combined equity and non-dilutive funding, including an $11 million Series A led by SOSV, to scale its lithium brine production technology. The platform combines evaporation enhancement, AI-enabled pond monitoring and selective crystallization to help producers increase throughput while reducing energy use and chemical consumption.
The company recently deployed its Lilypad technology in Chile, integrating directly into existing commercial evaporation ponds to move from the pilot phase into active industrial-scale production.
As lithium demand accelerates beyond EVs into battery storage, AI data centers and broader electrification, Princeton Critical Minerals' technology signals how improving efficiency in existing brine production methods could help ease a critical bottleneck in the clean energy supply chain without requiring entirely new extraction infrastructure.
