Origis Energy has expanded its Rockhound Solar complex in Texas with three new phases, bringing the site's operating capacity to nearly 1 GWdc and setting the stage for more than 2 GW of combined solar and energy storage by 2029. The project is designed to deliver dependable renewable electricity through long-term agreements with major corporate customers while supporting future data center co-location opportunities. By integrating utility-scale solar generation with planned battery storage, the complex can provide greater operational flexibility and help balance growing energy demand.
