Sunraycer closed a $901 million project financing facility to build three Texas solar and battery storage projects, adding 479.5MW of solar generation and 236.5MW of paired battery storage. The Texas solar and battery storage ERCOT portfolio spans Eagle Springs in Delta County and the Lupinus 1 and 2 projects in Franklin County. Eagle Springs is targeted for commercial operation later in 2026, with the Lupinus projects following in late 2027.

MUFG led the facility, with Ally Bank, Nomura, Nord/LB and Société Générale also participating. This marks Sunraycer’s second portfolio financing in about 12 months, raising total capital to approximately $1.6 billion during that time.

Sunraycer shows that pairing utility-scale solar with co-located battery storage can deliver the reliable, dispatchable clean power that ERCOT’s industrial customers need.
