Flow Power secured a foundational offtake agreement with Octopus Australia for the Blind Creek Solar Farm in Bungendore, NSW. The $900 million hybrid project combines 300MW of solar with a 486MWh battery storage system designed to power more than 120,000 homes.

The project uses DC-coupled designs that route energy directly from the solar array into the battery, reducing efficiency losses and improving grid support during evening demand peaks. It also functions as an "agri-solar model," enabling sheep grazing throughout the site during both construction and operation.

As Australia accelerates its shift toward cleaner energy sources, projects like the Blind Creek Solar Farm demonstrate how combining solar generation with large-scale battery storage can deliver more reliable renewable power to homes and businesses.
