Aluminum Recycling Solutions

Novelis Inc. has renewed its long-standing partnership with Infinitum, the Norwegian organization responsible for collecting and recycling beverage cans and single-use plastic bottles. The new long-term agreement strengthens their shared goal of ensuring that all aluminium cans used in Norway are fully recycled.

The extended partnership provides greater operational stability and creates new opportunities to streamline collection and transportation processes, helping to further reduce environmental impact.

As part of the collaboration, large volumes of used aluminium are transported each year from Infinitum’s facilities in Norway to Novelis’ recycling plant in Latchford, UK. There, the material is processed and turned back into new beverage cans, demonstrating a closed-loop recycling system in action.

The agreement also supports Novelis’ broader sustainability targets.
