Renewable Energy Supply Contracts
Knight Frank Inked a Three-Year Deal with TotalEnergies
Colin Smith — November 26, 2025Knight Frank has signed a three‑year renewable energy supply contract with TotalEnergies valued at more than £180 million to cover electricity for the commercial properties it manages in the UK and its own occupied offices. The agreement provides hourly‑matched, REGO‑backed renewable electricity and includes access to corporate power purchase agreements and green‑gas products. The supply arrangement is intended to reduce the carbon intensity of Knight Frank’s managed estate, support its sustainability reporting, and complement the firm’s advisory services to clients on energy and decarbonisation strategies.
Operationally, the contract combines attribute verification and hourly matching to improve the environmental integrity of purchased electricity while offering price and supply predictability across a broad property portfolio. TotalEnergies will supply bundled renewable products and facilitate access to CPPAs, enabling Knight Frank to pursue longer‑term sourcing options beyond the three‑year term. By centralizing matching and green‑gas options with a single supplier, Knight Frank aims to streamline emissions reporting and deliver measurable reductions for clients and its own operations, while TotalEnergies leverages its supply and contracting capabilities to support corporate decarbonization in the UK property sector.
