Nextpower Acquired Prevalon Energy to Expand Its Storage

The deal expands Nextpower's offerings beyond solar into energy storage, power stabilization and lifecycle services for grid-connected storage, hybrid power plants and AI data center infrastructure.
Prevalon will continue operating under founding CEO Tom Cornell following the acquisition, giving Nextpower a stronger foothold in one of the fastest-growing segments of the global power industry. The combined platform now spans power plant design, deployment, optimization and long-term operations for utility-scale customers and data center developers seeking reliable, dispatchable power at scale.
