AvalonBay and PowerLutions Installed a 747kW Rooftop Solar System

PowerLutions Solar completed a 747kW DC rooftop solar installation at AvalonBay’s Boonton, New Jersey, community, spanning 13 interconnections across multiple roofs and using Talesun modules and Enphase microinverters. The multifamily rooftop solar clean energy system generated approximately 821,000kWh in its first year, roughly equal to the annual electricity use of 79 homes, and is expected to avoid about 300 metric tons of CO₂ annually over its operating life.
The system offsets a substantial share of common-area electricity use, operates under New Jersey’s net-metering framework and is positioned to participate in state solar incentive programs.
