Distributed Solar Development Financing

Solar Landscape Has Secured $150 Million From CIP

Solar Landscape closed a distributed solar development financing facility of up to $150 million with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners through its Green Credit Fund II, providing flexible capital to accelerate distributed solar projects across the company's national pipeline. The facility will initially support approximately 250 MWdc of mid- and late-stage development assets, advancing equipment procurement, interconnection and offtake earlier in the project lifecycle.

The deal builds on a series of recent financings, including a $600 million senior debt facility, a $125 million corporate revolving credit facility and a $117 million preferred equity investment, bringing Solar Landscape's total capital raised over three years to more than $2.2 billion. By funding projects earlier in development, the facility aims to move solar from planning to construction faster, increasing overall platform throughput.

As electricity demand accelerates nationwide, this financing signals that flexible, early-stage capital is becoming essential to shortening the timeline between solar project conception and new generation coming online.
