NTT DATA & ENGIE Has Secured Renewable Power for AI Infrastructure Growth

NTT DATA and ENGIE announced a strategic partnership to secure long-term access to competitively priced renewable power for NTT DATA's global data center and AI infrastructure growth operations. The multinational agreement goes beyond a traditional supplier relationship, establishing a framework for renewable energy procurement, power supply and integrated energy solutions across priority markets including the UK, the Netherlands and Germany.

In the UK, NTT DATA signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement that will supply its data centers through September 2030 with electricity from an RE100-compatible 24 MW wind farm in South Wales. The partnership aims to help NTT DATA advance its net-zero ambitions while scaling data center capacity quickly enough to support rising AI-driven infrastructure demand.

NTT DATA and ENGIE show how technology companies are increasingly securing long-term renewable energy agreements to ensure infrastructure expansion does not come at the expense of decarbonization goals.
