Soluna acquired the remaining 49% stake in Project Dorothy 1B for $8.8 million, securing full ownership of its Dorothy 1 campus in Silverton, Texas, a vertically integrated setup that channels 150MW of owned wind power directly into 50MW of compute capacity. The renewable energy AI data center consolidation completes three acquisitions totaling more than $78 million this year, following the purchases of the Briscoe Wind Farm and Dorothy 1A.

Complete unencumbered ownership unlocks the campus for conversion to AI and high-performance computing while positioning Dorothy 3 — the next development phase — for customer marketing. Soluna’s total pipeline now exceeds 4.3GW.

Soluna shows how owning both the generation and compute infrastructure under one roof can create a cleaner, more cost-controlled foundation for AI workloads than grid-dependent alternatives.
