Distributed Solar Growth Financing

Dimension Energy Secured $857 Million for Its Solar Expansion

Dimension Energy secured $857 million in additional capital, combining a $200 million upsize of its corporate credit facility with a $657 million construction-to-term debt and tax equity package to accelerate its distributed solar platform. The financing supports 29 projects totaling 149 MW across Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia, with lenders including MUFG Bank, First Citizens Bank and Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit.

The upsized corporate facility brings Dimension Energy's total credit capacity to $650 million, giving the company added flexibility to move projects efficiently from development into construction.

As rising transmission and distribution costs strain the grid, this financing signals growing institutional confidence in distributed solar as a scalable way to deliver reliable, affordable clean power closer to demand.
