AirTrunk secured $2.325 billion in green financing under its Green Financing Framework, marking the largest green project finance transaction for a single data center in Malaysia and the company's largest single-asset financing to date. The funding supports the development of JHB2, a hyperscale data center campus in Johor Bahru that targets a Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.37 through advanced, water-efficient cooling technology.

The transaction's margin savings will continue to fund AirTrunk's social impact programs across Malaysia. These include recycled water initiatives in schools through Gravity Water and Water Watch Penang, disaster relief support with MERCY Malaysia, and STEM education partnerships with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The financing aims to pair efficient digital infrastructure development with measurable environmental and community benefits.

AirTrunk demonstrates how green capital structures can help Southeast Asia scale AI-driven data center capacity without sidelining resource efficiency or local social impact.
