Joby Aviation Has Leased Space at Perot Field in Texas

Joby Aviation has signed a lease for 45,000 square feet at the Perot Field location in Hillwood's AllianceTexas development, marking the first significant North Texas presence for an eVTOL aircraft manufacturer. The site places Joby within the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone, a public-private ecosystem that connects the company to multimodal transportation infrastructure and a skilled regional workforce.
The location provides Joby with a base to demonstrate air mobility services across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex as the company begins flights under the eIPP program in partnership with Hillwood, TxDOT and NCTCOG. Perot Field, the world's first industrial airport purpose-built for cargo and corporate aviation, serves as the aviation cornerstone of the broader 27,000-acre AllianceTexas development.
Joby's expansion signals how established aviation and logistics hubs are becoming critical launchpads for scaling eVTOL technology.
