Green Ammonia Investment Platforms

Brookfield Committed $600 Million to ACME Cleantech

Brookfield Asset Management agreed to invest up to $600 million in India's ACME Cleantech Ventures to support green ammonia and methanol projects, marking Brookfield's entry into the low-carbon fuels sector through its Global Transition Fund strategy. The funding will advance ACME's project pipeline across India and Oman as the company expands low-carbon fuel production for domestic and international markets.

ACME has already secured supply agreements with customers, including Norway's Yara International, Japan's IHI Corporation, and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical.

Brookfield has a solid renewable energy footprint in India, holding around 50 gigawatts of wind and solar assets, both operational and planned, and is now expanding into low-carbon fuel production in addition to its existing generation activities.
