Saudi Arabian Solar Plants
GameChange Solar will Provide Supplies for the Bisha Solar PV Plant
Debra John — February 5, 2026GameChange Solar has been chosen to supply solar tracking systems for the 1,290 MWp Bisha Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant in Saudi Arabia. The project is being developed by ACWA Power, with Larsen & Toubro serving as the engineering and construction partner. It is part of Saudi Arabia’s renewable energy program led by the Public Investment Fund, which aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and lower carbon emissions.
The Bisha Solar PV Plant will add a large source of clean electricity to the national grid, helping the country diversify its energy supply. GameChange Solar’s manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia can produce up to 6 GW of equipment each year, allowing materials to be made locally. This reduces transportation emissions and supports faster project delivery.
Located in the Asir Province, the plant will use the Genius Tracker™ 1P system. Built-in features help the panels produce more energy and stay stable in extreme heat, strong winds, and difficult weather conditions.
