Sungrow has announced the establishment of its first manufacturing facility in Wałbrzych, Lower Silesia, marking a significant step in the expansion of sustainable energy infrastructure across the region. The 65,400-square-meter facility represents an investment of approximately €230 million and is intended to support the growth of a localized, low-carbon clean energy supply chain within Europe.

Designed to enable large-scale production of photovoltaic inverters and energy storage systems, the facility will support annual manufacturing capacity of up to 20 gigawatts of inverters and 12.5 gigawatt-hours of energy storage systems. The plant will incorporate advanced manufacturing technologies and quality assurance processes aimed at improving energy efficiency, product reliability, and operational safety.

Scheduled to become operational within 12 months, the facility is expected to create approximately 400 jobs while contributing to Europe’s renewable energy transition and long-term emissions reduction objectives.
