Utility-Scale Solar Partnerships
GCL SI Partnered with Getz Energy on Thailand Solar Projects.
mursal rahman — May 25, 2026GCL System Integration partnered with Getz Energy to support utility-scale solar deployment and smart energy integration projects across Thailand. Under the agreement, GCL SI will supply up to 1GW of photovoltaic modules and battery energy storage systems over the next three years. The partnership also highlights the growing role of hybrid solar infrastructure as Southeast Asian markets expand renewable electricity generation and modernize aging power grids.
The showcased solar technologies are designed for industrial rooftops, utility-scale installations, and high-temperature environments, supporting reliable long-term energy generation in demanding operating conditions. The agreement reflects increasing regional demand for integrated solar and storage systems that can improve grid stability while supporting rising electricity consumption. As countries across Southeast Asia accelerate renewable energy investment, partnerships between photovoltaic manufacturers and local energy providers may help strengthen regional supply chains, expand clean energy infrastructure, and reduce long-term dependence on traditional fossil fuel generation.
