Battery Storage Financing

Lydian Energy Has Secured $300 Million from Infranity

Lydian Energy closed a $300 million credit facility for its holding company with Infranity to fund development, construction and operations across its expanding portfolio of utility-scale battery storage and solar projects. Founded in 2023, Lydian has built a 6.0 GW portfolio of operating, construction-ready and development-stage projects across the United States, backed by Excelsior Energy Capital.

The bespoke facility enables Lydian to leverage the value of its existing operating and construction-ready assets to accelerate its broader project pipeline, strengthening the company's position to capitalize on rising power demand and renewable energy incentives as national grid modernization accelerates.

As electricity demand climbs across the U.S., this financing signals that battery storage developers are increasingly turning to flexible, asset-backed credit structures to accelerate infrastructure buildout, positioning storage as an essential layer for grid reliability and renewable integration.
