Filipino Solar Farm Projects

Vena Group has reached financial close for the 80.6 MWp Astra Solar Project located in Currimao, Ilocos Norte. According to the announcement, the project is structured to support the region’s growing demand for renewable energy and is positioned as part of the company’s broader development pipeline in the Philippines. The financing package was arranged through a consortium of lenders, enabling the project to advance toward construction and eventual grid integration. The Astra facility is expected to contribute to national renewable energy targets by adding utility scale solar capacity in an area with strong solar irradiance.

The company noted that the project aligns with its long term strategy to expand solar generation assets across key Philippine provinces. The Astra Solar Project is planned to utilize modern photovoltaic technology and is expected to support local economic activity during both construction and operation. Once completed, the project is anticipated to supply power under existing market mechanisms and contribute to the diversification of the country’s energy mix.
